Several persons of Boki/Ikom, extraction and beyond, have hailed the decision of Edward Eta Ogon, to contest for the Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency seat. They are additionally happy that Ogon has accordingly obtained, filled and returned the nomination forms as a clear indication that he is serious about representing the constituency in the National Assembly. The happiness of these persons were contained in several messages to Ogon that www.calitown.com sighted.
Clement Ovat (Nde, Ikom) welcomes this development because Ogon ” is a true democrat and a man of goodwill”, he added that, “we, the youths and good people of Nde have seen how credible he was while serving as a former member of the National Assembly and in the state in general. We will be happy to have him serve us again in that capacity”. “Eddy is an experienced performer wherever he has served. He has been tested and proven capable, the reason I want to use this platform, www.calitown.com, to urge our people to vote for Eddy Ogon for proper and effective representation in the National Assembly”, Ndoma Lloyd, from Ikom wrote.
For Chris Bisong (Kakwagom, Boki): “To me it means a lot. Eddy Ogon is the only aspirant that both the PDP and the APC supporters will vote for. He cuts across party lines and has over the years remained a very accessible person”, a view not lost on Justin Francis Eyie (from Obanliku, resident in Ikom): who maintains too that ” this man is a wonderful and a good man. I know he is very good and competent when it comes to representing the people.”
Perhaps not to be outdone by the testimonials in place, Maurice Tiku, President, Abo Ward Students, Boki LGA, CRS, comes through with, “I have remained overwhelmed with joy and satisfaction at the news, … Edward Ogon … is simple by nature, accessible, he interacts with all, from the young, the old, the educated, the uneducated, the rich and the poor. Because of his desire to solve the problems of his people with the resources God has entrusted to him, we (Abo Ward Students) have resolved to support his political interest come 2019 general election.
A female politician, Comfort Eba from Nde three corner, Ikom LGA, wrote: “Am so delighted and very optimistic that he will represent qualitatively when supported and elected.” Matthew Eze from Ebonyi State but resident resident in Ikom, closes this selection with the submission that Ogon’s “wealth of knowledge is enough reason for him to be supported.”
“I am overwhelmed by this show of confidence and support, I therefore have no plans to disappoint all of these people if I am elected”, Ogon told www.calitown.com.
