Eighteen girls have scaled through to participate in the 2016 edition of the Cross River Most Beautiful Girl pageant put together by former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) Queen, Isabella Ayuk. Ayuk says she initiated the pageant to provide a platform for girls in Cross River, her home state, and further to initiate projects that would give back to society her wealth of experience.

Meanwhile, the grand finale of the event, where the girls are to compete before a mammoth audience is expected to behold at the Dome, Calabar Municipal Garden.

CRMBG contestants this year it was revealed will work towards interpreting the theme ‘Think Green, Think Life,”. Apart from the five prestigious crowns up for grabs for the girls, the winner, takes home a car, cash prize, one year scholarship, national and international tours and represent the state in the much coveted MBGN pageant later this year.

With this year’s edition of CRMBG expanding its entry to contestants with maternal ties to Cross River, apart from living in the state for not less than ten years, the pageant will be the most battled for in recent times.
