ICPC Goes After Briyai, Former REC Cross River State

Posted on November 26, 2019 By Admin No Comments on ICPC Goes After Briyai, Former REC Cross River State
Briyai

Former Resident Electoral Commissioner, Cross River State, Frankland Briyai, sources in the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC, office in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, have informed www.calitown.com, has been invited by the Commission, to appear before her over financial related issues.

We gather that, Briyai, who resigned his appointment as REC to unsuccessfully contest the APC gubernatorial primaries in Bayelsa State, was clearly requested to furnish the Commission with his personal statement of account as well as accounts tied to his office as REC from 2016 to 2019.

Briyai was not available for comments at press time, but sources close to him insist he has nothing to fear.
