Kidnappers Free Kidnapped Calabar Pastor

Posted on November 16, 2021 By Admin No Comments on Kidnappers Free Kidnapped Calabar Pastor

…Collect N200,000 as ransom!

Adediran

Sunday Olu Adeniran, the pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, kidnapped over the weekend in Calabar, Cross River State, has been released by his abductors, www.calitown.com can reliably report.

Adediran we gather, was released in the wee hours of Sunday and dumped by his abductors near the Scanobo filling station, Ikot Ekpo, 8 Miles on the outskirts of Calabar, the Cross River State capital.

The release we were further informed is not unconnected to the intense manhunt carried out by the Anti Kidnapping and Cultism Squad, AKCS, in the state. “The kidnappers hurriedly collected what they could after making an initial demand of seven million naira. They knew that the Dragon Squad was closing in on them so they had to hurriedly collect about 200,000 naira and let their victim go”, we were told by sources who cannot be mentioned in print.

In another development, the police have rescued another victim, a 24-year old businessman, Justine Esedeke from his abductors, without paying any ransom. He was found at another location in 8 Miles.

The successes of the search and rescue operations are tied to recent security efforts activated by CRS Commissioner of Police, Aminu Alhassan, to curb a spike in kidnappings in the state.
