The Okuni community in Ikom Local Government Area, Cross River Central, through her Local Organizing Committee of the Olulumo Cultural Association, OCA, is inviting the public to witness the 2021 edition of the Olulumo Cultural Festival.

The cultural festival which is an annual year ending event, seeks to “rejuvenate the strong, long-lost bonds of Olulumo tradition; love, unity and commonality”, a statement by the organizers says. The event also works at promoting unity, cultural harmony as well as foster security and peace in the community.

Billed to hold on December 26, 2021 and January 2, 2022, at the Okuni playground, from midday, each day, the two-day event will attract not only participants from far and near as the drive to harness the intrinsic values of the community’s cultural heritage while providing important social and economic benefits.

“Come enjoy the hospitality and the rich cultural heritage of the Olulumo people”, the message wooing people to the event states.
