Group Extends Love To Orphanage On Valentine’s Day!

The group, Charging Point Club International, Cross River State, says people must, at the slightest opportunity, extend love and care to the less priviledged in the society, not only as a religious obligation, but as a way of also embracing and demomstrating the human virtue of support and care for real people in need.

Chris Agbeh, President, Charging Point Club International, Cross River State, who made this statement when he led members to the Pope John Paul II Home for the Aged and Orphanages, Calabar, on a charity visit, further maintained that society stands to benefit immensely when those in real need are identified and supported by people other than their close friends and immediate family members.

He came clear that it was part of the club’s vision, to deliberately organize herself on a special day like Valentine’s Day, to seek out the Pope John Paul II Home for the Aged and Orphanage, Calabar, extend love to the aged and the orphanage, by providing food items, clothing and sanitary items to them.

“What we have brought here is by no means a lion’s share, but the gift of these items has come with good will and from the depth of our hearts. Please use these things wisely and to the glory of God”, Agbeh added.

Catholic sisters and minders of the Home and Orphanage, present at the event, were full of appreciation to the group and prayed that God will order the steps of the group.
