
Peter Akpanke who represents Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku, OBO, Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has paid a courtesy visit to key officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State from his constituency and congratulated them on making the exco of the APC in Cross River State.
Addressing party leaders at the secretariat, Akpanke commended them on their emergence and expressed confidence in their ability to strengthen the party with their experience and leadership. “I am here to congratulate you on your emergence as state officers of our great party, the All Progressives Congress. This is a crucial time for you to bring your wealth of experience to bear on our collective resolve to make things better for our people and I am confident in your capacity to deliver. As your representative in the National Assembly, I wish you success and pray for God’s guidance throughout your tenure,” he said.
He also used the opportunity to inform them of his plan to seek another term in office, emphasizing his desire to continue the work already started for the people of the OBO Federal Constituency. “I have come as your representative to formally consult you on my intention to seek the party’s ticket once again in 2027, so I can continue serving our people and complete ongoing developmental efforts,” stated.
In their response, the party officials appreciated his visit and support, thanked him for recognizing their roles, and encouraged him to broaden his consultations across the constituency. Akpanke was accompanied by some constituents from the OBO Federal Constituency.
