Two former senators who represented the Northern and Southern Senatorial Districts of Cross River State in Nigeria’s Upper Legislative Chambers, Musa Adede and Florence Ita-Giwa, top a list of six delegates nominated to by CR governor, Liyel Imoke, to articulate Cross River’s position in the scheme of things at the National Conference, billed for inauguration on March 17, 2014, at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja.

The list also includes retired Army general and former military governor of Rivers State, Anthony Ukpo, two former gubernatorial aspirants in the state, Josephat  Itafu Okey, of the “Okey is Okay for Governor” fame and Pius Tabi Tawo.  Orok Otu Duke, one time Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, completes the list.

Sources say the Conference which will last for three months, is to be chaired by Idris Kutigi and assisted by Bolaji Akinyemi.   A total of 492 delegates will be attend the Conference expected to cost the nation a whopping N7 billion to execute.
