Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, John Gaul Lebo has commended the immediate past majority leader of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Moses Abeng Onoh for his industrial and agricultural acumen which has given birth to Agemos Oil and Farms as well as Agemos Bakery owned by the former House leader.

The speaker who described Onoh as an asset to Obubra and further lauded him for sighting the industries in the rural communities of Ofodua and Oyadama in Obubra Local government Area.

Reacting, the Legislative Adviser to the Speaker and member representing Yakurr II in the State House of Assembly,
Eteng William said he was impressed by the former leader’s sensitivity to his people by citing the industries in the area, adding that such patriotic initiative should be emulated by other politicians.

Also speaking, the member representing Bekwarra state constituency in the House of Assembly, Agaji Idagu said the investments in Obubra were an indication of the love the former assemblyman has for the people, reiterating that the spread of the investments in Ofodua and Oyadama communities only demonstrate the former leader’s willingness to touch the lives of the people of Obubra.

Responding, Onoh said he was grateful to the speaker for the commissioning, averring that the investments were for the benefits of Obubra people. He observed that he was moved by the plight of several Obubra unemployed youths roaming the streets and the need to provide sources of livelihood for others in the citing of the concerns in the area.
