The corpse on the highway

The corpse of a teenager, not older that 13, is lying on the Murtala Muhammed Highway, By Bishop Monyagh Avenue, Calabar, Cross River State, www.calitown.com can authoritatively reveal.

It appeared on close examination that the teenager, obviously a street kid, largely referred to as a “Skolombo kid” in the metropolis may have died over night of unknown causes. The body has no injuries apart from a visible skin infection on the waist.

Health authorities and the police have been duly informed by our reporter as we await the evacuation of the corpse before it decomposes and constitutes a health hazard.
