APC Group Picks Candidate For Party Chairmanship Position

APC-Logo1The All Progressives Congress, APC Consultative Forum, Cross River State, late Thursday evening in Ogoja, elected Ramsey Tito Ndep as her candidate for the Chairmanship position of the APC, Cross River State in the State Congress taking place in Calabar, this Saturday April 26, 2014.

Ndep defeated three other contestants, garnering 34 votes in the process, to emerge victorious. The APC Consultative Forum, a pressure group within the APC, Cross River State also unanimously resolved that the position of State Chairman of the APC be zoned to the Central Senatorial District, while the Governorship slot was zoned to the Northern Senatorial District. The position of Deputy Governor is zoned to the Southern Senatorial District of the State. The forum which was attended by elders, women, youths and members of the Party from the 18 Local Government Areas of the state, was presided over by Dr. Micheal Ogar, former member of the House of Representatives.
