B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G: Fire At Marina Resort Cinema

As at the time of filing this report, men of the Cross River State Fire Service were still battling to put out the fire at Film House Cinema, Marina Resort, Calabar. Thought to be as a result of a power surge, the fire has inflicted considerable damage on one of the film theatres. Comments were not easy to obtain from the management of the cinema outfit as all efforts were geared towards putting out the fire. No lives were however lost.
