Ben Akak Commissions Water Project In Ugep, Monarch Happy

Chairman of Ben Akak Foundation, Ben Akak, today commissioned in Ugep, Yakurr LGA, a borehole project that he provided at the main market in the community.

Speaking earlier at the palace of the Obol Lopon of Ugep, Obol Ofem Ubana Eteng, Akak said his decision to construct and commission a borehole in the area is “divine and timely” adding that the community has not enjoyed massive state government interventions over the years. “What I have done is a sign of great things to come. If I am able to do this as an individual, I will do more.”

He further explained that aside from the commissioning of the borehole, he was at the palace “to seek wisdom, knowledge and direction.”

Responding, Obol Ofem said he was excited at Akak’s gesture and prayed that God will further enable him to extend his milk of kindness to the community beyond the water project. He later accompanied Akak to the water project site for commissioning.
