Emil Inyang Tackles Dansuki

Posted on May 8, 2014 By Admin 1 Comment on Emil Inyang Tackles Dansuki

pdpIt has been revealed to www.calitown.com that the immediate past chairman of Biase Local Government Council, Emil Inyang has his sights set on unseating the member representing Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency in Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Daniel Asuquo, in what a source says will be “an interesting contest”.

Inyang who superintended over Biase LGA for six years is said to have commenced extensive consultations across board in a bid to unseat Asuquo, better known locally as “Dansuki”. “Yes, a couple of meetings have been held in Davy Hotels, Asari Eso and it is not out of place to convene meetings of this nature”, one source said but the meetings we hear have been piped down and few in between. On Dansuki’s part, he is said to be determined to secure another term of four years and recently empowered his constituents with gifts worth millions of naira in a ceremony attended by House of Reps Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal, state governor, Liyel Imoke and top functionaries of the PDP at state and national level.

Again Inyang’s ambition is thought “to be fuelled by the believe that Biase has been undermined in the political marriage between Akamkpa and Biase”, as one political observer put it. Those behind this political argument are maintaining that the population of Biase must count instead of the proximity of Akamkpa to Calabar, in the scheme of political things and consider Emil Inyang formidable enough to challenge Dansuki’s political position and financial war chest. Even though the PDP in CRS has directed that political campaigns and all sorts be suspended, the battle for the parts of CR’s political soul rages on.

Haaaaaaaaaa I dey laugh, please somebody should advice Emil inyang to keep the money he made during his days as chairman for himself and his family bcos he will never and can never unseat dansuki because if u put on ground what dansuki has achieved as house member in just two years and even his days as chairman akamkpa, Emil inyang cannot and haven’t been able to achieve that in his 6 years rule. I can comment bcos I have watched keenly how political events have unfold over the years and each characters that play their parts since 1999,Emil inyang is day dreaming
