Father Of Triplets Killed In Calabar Cult Clash

Posted on May 19, 2020 By Admin No Comments on Father Of Triplets Killed In Calabar Cult Clash

A father of recently delivered triplets was this past Sunday shot and killed in front of his house in Calabar, Cross River State as the spate of cult related killings in the city continue, unabated.

The victim, simply identified to www.calitown.com as Ettah Jeco, was sitting outside his house at the Doctors’ Quarters, Beebobsco, Calabar Municipality, baby sitting one of the triplets when his assailants arrived. He was shot on the chest while the baby fell from his hands to the ground, yelling.

Residents of the area who were attracted to the scene by the gunshots and the shrill cry of the baby, were shocked to meet the victim dead and the baby on the ground. They helped control his hysterical wife, crying uncontrollably. Security men later evacuated the body of the victim.

Cult related killings have recently been on the rise in Calabar with even an aide of state governor, Ben Ayade, shot and killed in the last couple of days.
