Eyo further disclosed that “central to the ethos of the group is the philosophy of “Otuism,” which the group say highlights the progressive governance model of the governor, “who truly invests in the empowerment of the populace. It is vital to effectively reach out to the grassroots, ensuring that every resident feels included, engaged, and enthusiastic about participating in the governance process. CRBO is unwavering in its commitment to advancing this principle throughout communities in Cross River State”.

She was also particular that “the Bassey Otu administration represents a promising era for Cross River State, one characterized by an unwavering commitment to sweetness and prosperity. Our governor’s approach emphasizes collaboration and community development, delicately laying the groundwork for transformative changes and tangible improvements in the quality of life across the state.”

The particularly significant event, culminated in the formal appointment of the state governor as the executive patron of the group, underscoring his support for the group’s mandate of promoting and advocating for good governance.

In his response, Otu thanked the group for the visit, happy that their visible support is coming at a time when all Cross Riverians must collectively work to advance the ship of state. He promised his support and commitment to the group’s activities, praying that God will grant them the energy to truly remain focused.
