Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, who represents Cross River North Senatorial District in Nigeria’s Senate, has shut the door on the senatorial ambition of Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade, handing him a crushing defeat in a fiercely contested election, this past Saturday.

Final results from the Cross River North Senatorial District Results announced by INEC, show Jarigbe breast the tape with 19,550, more than Ayade got in the polls.
