JARIGBE AGOM JARIGBE: The 10th Senate Scorecard, 365 Days After!

On the 13th day of June, 2023, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe was inaugurated as Distinguished Senator of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

After surmounting the herculean task of going past an incumbent governor, in the polls, to become the senator, representing Cross River North Senatorial District, he was hugely distracted with post-election litigations.

Despite the distractions, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe has continued to show rare dexterity and enthusiasm in the discharge of his constitutional duties and responsibilities to his constituents. See how far he has gone in his last 365 days of the 10th Senate:

Appointments:

1. Due to his competence and experience, he was appointed, Chairman, Senate Committee on Gas.

2.Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on SDGs

3. The Leadership of the Senate also appointed him as Board Member of the Governing Council of National Institute of Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS)

4. Senator Jarigbe is also a member of the Constitution Review Committee, several other Standing and ad-hoc Committees.

64. Empowerment of Business women with cash grant to boost business in Bekwarra LGA.

65. Distribution of 50 carriage tricycles to stakeholders across the five LGAs.

66. Empowerment of selected lecturers of Ukelle extraction with laptops.

67. Empowerment of youths across the six wards of Ukelle with grinding machines, sewing machines and refrigerators.

68. Donation of MF-375 Tractor to Jarified Brothers Cooperative.

69. Sponsored Medical Outreach Patients in Cross River North.

70. Facilitated training and on Aquaculture Data Management and Empowerment of 500 Youths in Cross River North Senatorial District.

One year after, there is still work to be done. Essentially, the co-operation and prayers of CR North Constituents will continue to be a welcome development. Congratulations are in place!
