LG Elections: Eyong Sunday Makes Case For His Aspiration!

Posted on September 25, 2024 By Admin No Comments on LG Elections: Eyong Sunday Makes Case For His Aspiration!

My Fellow Great Yakurr People,

My name is Eyong Sunday Sunday, a native of the Egbizium unit in Ikpakapit Council Ward, Ugep Urban, Yakurr LGA of Cross River State.

I hold a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Calabar Nigeria, alongside a professional certification as an Onshore/Offshore Health, Safety, and Environmental Officer from the International Institute of Risk Management. By the grace of God, I am blessed with a wonderful family—my wife and three children.

As the Director General of Global Force Nigeria, a political support group, I have led efforts to mobilize thousands of votes for distinguished leaders, including His Excellency Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Eteng Jonah Williams, Chief Alex Egbonna, Hon. Cyril Omini, Mrs. Mercy Akpama, as well as successive governments over the years.

Through our modest influence, we have successfully attracted employment opportunities in state and federal government ministries, departments, and agencies for our loyal supporters in Yakurr LGA and beyond. We’ve also provided moral support and empowered many within our communities.

My foundation, the BEN BA EYONG SUNDAY FOUNDATION(MACOFS), established over a decade ago, has directly employed nearly a hundred individuals in Yakurr LGA. These individuals receive weekly or monthly wages, and we continue to support them to this day. We have also extended assistance in the form of shelter, clothing for the less privileged, and school materials for pupils in nursery and primary schools across Yakurr.

Today, I stand before you, honored and humbled to seek the opportunity to serve as Chairman of Yakurr LGA in 2024. Throughout my life, I have dedicated myself to understanding the needs and challenges of our Local government.

With my academic background and leadership experience—including my previous bids for the Yakurr LGA chairmanship in 2019 and 2022 and my service as Special Assistant to the immediate past governor on Resource Management, i am well-prepared to lead Yakurr LGA into a new era of progress.

My vision focuses on empowering our youth through education, skills acquisition, and job creation. I am committed to improving our infrastructure, upgrading roads, healthcare facilities, and community centers. Economic growth is vital and I will work to promote entrepreneurship, trade, and local investments.

Transparency and accountability will be the bedrock of my administration. If you grant me your trust and mandate, I will ensure that governance is open and inclusive, with active community engagement at all levels.

Let us join hands in building a brighter future for Yakurr. Together, we can create a more prosperous, vibrant, and united community.

Support Eyong Sunday Sunday for Chairman of Yakurr LGA in 2024. Let’s work together to create a Yakurr that truly belongs to the people, built by the people and thrives for the people.

Every contribution counts. Join the movement and help make a lasting difference. Feel free to contact me at 08035148526, or follow me on social media.

Let’s make the difference together!
