One Down In Sustained Cult Clash In Ugep

Posted on January 1, 2020 By Admin No Comments on One Down In Sustained Cult Clash In Ugep

A young man has this afternoon been confirmed dead in a suspected cult shooting that rocked Ugep, Yakurr Local Government, this afternoon.

The deceased, identified to www.calitown.com as Otu Otu Eno a.k.a Otu Idiagbon, is said to have been shot in the stomach at close range, resulting in his death. While family members appear to be keeping mum over the killing, several sources in Ugep remain in fear as a suspected intra-cult infraction has recently been responsible for a few life threatening attacks on several individuals and the destruction of several properties in the area.

At press time, local monarch, Obol Ofem Ubana, Obol Lopon of Ugep and Paramount Ruler of Yakurr, confirmed the killing and further added that he was in a meeting with the Ugep Urban Youths Executive on the issue, with a promise to get back to us soon.
