John Owan Enoh, the senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial district in Nigeria’s Senate and Niger Delta Affairs minister, Usani Uguru Usani, are among a list of 68, listed as members of the All Progressives Congress National Convention Committee.
The list of the committee members released by the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Sunday, www.calitown.com inform, has the Governor of Jigawa State, Abubakar Badaru, as chair of the committee while the Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, will be his deputy. Ben Uwajomogu was named as member/Secretary. 10 state governors, some members of National Assembly and some chieftains of the APC are also listed as members of the committee.
The governors are Rochas Okorocha (Imo); Kashim Shettima (Borno); Aminu Masari (Katsina); Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo); Ibrahim Gaidam (Yobe); and Ahmed El-Rufai (Kaduna). Others are Simeon Lalong (Plateau); Bindo Jibrila (Adamawa); Yahaya Bello (Kogi); and Godwin Obaseki (Edo). A former President of the Senate, Ken Nnamani, is also a member.
The senators in the committee are Ahmed Yerima, Adamu Aliero, Danjuma Goje, Abdullahi Adamu, George Akume, suspended Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Andrew Uchendu, Abdullahi Danbaba, Baba Kuka. Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Productivity is the other minister who joins Usani Usani on the list.
