Posted on August 22, 2024 By Admin No Comments on Re: Viral Video Showing a Girl Being Flogged While Half-Naked

The Cross River State Police Command wishes to address the recent viral video circulating on social media, which depicts a girl, identified as Miss Queen, being subjected to physical assault by a group of girls while in a hotel room. The girl, visibly half-naked in the video, is being flogged for reasons that are currently under investigation.

The Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command, CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah, PSC, FCAI, has directed an immediate and thorough investigation into the matter. The aim is to uncover the circumstances surrounding this disturbing incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Commissioner of Police also calls upon all those involved in the hospitality industry to be vigilant and take proactive measures in profiling and conducting background checks on their guests. This step is crucial in preventing such disturbing incidents from occurring within their premises.

In the meantime, the victim has been provided with the necessary medical attention and is receiving care at a hospital.

The Cross River State Police Command assures the public that the outcome of the investigation will be communicated promptly. We remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents and upholding justice in our society.

SP UGBO IRENE,
Police Public Relations Officer,
For: Commissioner of Police,
Cross River State Command
