2014/2015 Legal Year Opens In CRS

Scales of JusticeThe 2014/2015 Legal year of the High Court of Cross River State begins on Monday 15th of September, 2014. As usual it would be preceded by a Church service, to be held at Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) off Murtala Mohammed highway, Calabar on Monday at 10:00 a.m. prompt.

A release from the acting Chief registrar’s office indicates that the Honorable Chief Judge, Okoi Ikpi Itam, will inspect a guard of honour mounted by a contingent of the Nigeria Police at the premises of the High Court Complex, Mary Slessor Avenue, Calabar. Thereafter, a special Court session would be held at the High Court Number One, Mary Slessor Avenue, Calabar. Expected at the event, are all High Court Judges, Magistrates, Law Officers and Legal Practitioners who are to attend, fully robed.
