Owan Enoh Mourns Brother, Burial Fixed For March 3, 2026!

The remains of Victor Achima Owan, a Catholic priest ordained for the Catholic Diocese of Ogoja as well as brother of Nigeria’s Minister of State for Industry, John Owan Enoh, will be buried on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in Ogoja, Cross River State.

Information made available by the Catholic Diocese of Ogoja, revealed that on Monday, March 2, 2026, vigil Mass will hold at the St. Benedict’s Cathedral, Ogoja, from 5 pm.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, requiem Mass will hold from 9 am, at St. Benedict’s Cathedral, Ogoja, followed immediately by interment.

The late Catholic priest was ordained on October 13, 1996. Matthew Otuji, Catholic priest and Diocesan Chancellor, Catholic Diocese of Ogoja, described Enoh as a priest, “who served the diocese with commitment, discipline and fidelity”. He authored 40 books that will be posthumously launched with all proceeds to be spent for the upkeep of priests and religious.

Victor Achima Owan, passed away on February 8, 2026, with his immediate family electing to privately mourn his loss. Sources close to the minister, his elder brother, confided in www.calitown.com that the minister has been tight lipped, deeply mourning the demise of a brother who came with so much promise and brought the entire family joy.
