Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Florence Banku Obi, has used the occasion of the 10th Induction/Oath Taking ceremony for 229 Unical graduands Of Nursing Science to inform that Nursing Science had the highest requests by JAMB candidates for admission into Unical this session.

Obi, represented by the DVC Academics, said the 229 graduands are for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic session.

According to her, it is a feat that has never been accomplished before, to have the current year graduate and inducted, all thanks to the examination officer, Akon Ndiok.

“You are called to serve the helpless and that helpless can be you, the president or anybody. You are here to take an oath of ethics that you are going to abide by. Anytime you violate the oath, your licence will be taken away from you.”

“Nursing has the highest request for admission this session. “Nursing is very dear to my heart, go and make us proud”, the VC charged the graduands. She further congratulated the graduands and urged them to be good ambassadors of the institution.
