CR Senatorial Aspirant Happy At Widened Pool Of Strong Candidates

Posted on February 14, 2022February 14, 2022 By Admin No Comments on CR Senatorial Aspirant Happy At Widened Pool Of Strong Candidates
L-R: Ofem, Usani… senatorial aspirants.

Thomas Ofem, aspiring to represent Cross River Central Senatorial District in Nigeria’s Senate, says he is happy at the widened pool of strong candidates gradually coming out to also aspire for the senatorial position on the platform of the Proples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ofem’s reaction trails last week’s clear message from the One Central Campaign Organization of Wilfred Usani,to the State Working Committee, SWC, of the PDP, intimating her of Usani’s decision to aspire to the party’s senatorial ticket.

In a short statement made available to www.calitown.com, Ofem maintains that he is “… excited that Wilfred Usani has joined the race for the Central Senatorial District for 2023. This excitement is borne out of conviction that our great party the PDP is ripe for an injection of fresh blood. History is replete with examples of how opposition parties have bounced back to power through a combination of political experience and the energy and enthusiasm of Youth. Usani is young, dynamic, intelligent and not a newbie in the CRS political landscape.”

He further adds that, “PDP must put its best foot in the coming elections forward and Usani’s entry into the race has widened the pool of strong candidates to select from. I welcome him and look forwarding to meeting him in the field”.
