Man Singlehandedly Arrests Car Smashing Masquerade

Posted on October 10, 2022October 10, 2022 By Admin No Comments on Man Singlehandedly Arrests Car Smashing Masquerade

The personal driver of a lady, simply identified to www.calitown.com as Obonganwan Akpawan, over the weekend, demonstrated uncommon bravery when he chased down and arrested a matchet-weilding masquerade which smashed the wind screen of the Toyota Camry he was driving.

The costume, after the masquerade was unclad.

Witness reports from Eket, Akwa Ibom state, say the masquerade, in company of three others, accosted the vehicle at Strabag Junction, Okon-Eket, Eket Local Government Area, soliciting for funds but became upset when their demand was not met. In an unbelievable instant, the masquerade smashed the windscreen of the vehicle in anger before fleeing. The driver is said to have exited the vehicle and went in hot pursuit of the masquerade.

When he caught up with the masquerade, it brazenly brandished the matchet it was holding and took forceful steps towards the driver who stood his grounds and engaged the masquerade physically, disarming it in the process before wrestling it to the ground. Exhausted from the physical attack, the masquerade began to plead for leniency as the driver quickly unmasked the masquerade, revealing one Nsikan Mfon, who was accordingly handed over to the police, as the man behind the masquerade. He was detained at Eket Divisional Police Headquarters, Eket for investigation.
