COSGRAMS Alumni Association Announce Executive Committee Elections Date

The alumni of Community Secondary Grammar School, COSGRAMS, Ugep, has announced plans to hold elections for its Alumni Association Executive Committee. Accordingly, the Electoral Committee has unveiled the election timelines and critical dates for the entire process.

A press statement signed by Thomas Ofem and Etoma Edu, Chairman and Secretary respectively, COSGRAMS Alumni Association Electoral Committee, positions to be contested include the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Provost, Organizing Secretary, and Publicity Secretary. The electoral committee stated that it “has prioritized an organised, transparent, and inclusive election process.”

Key events and dates in the election timeline are as follows:

April 20 -May 3: Prospective candidates must complete and submit online intent forms in conjunction with voter registration.

May 4 – 10: Screening of submitted forms by the electoral committee to ensure a fair contest.

May 12: Voter registration ends

May 12 – 25: Campaigns and sharing of manifestos

May 26 – 28: Online voting

May 31: Announcement of election results by the electoral committee.

The electoral committee further encourages all alumni of COSGRAMS to participate actively in the election process. The online voting system will ensure that all alumni, regardless of their geographical location, can participate in the voting process.
