Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has declared, as he commenced the first leg of consultations ahead of the 2027 elections in Obanliku LGA, that “I have come to formally share my intention to seek re-election”

As he commenced consultations, Jarigbe was clear that he is seeking stakeholders support and prayers, adding that it is deliberate and strategic that he has chosen to commence his re-election bid in Obanliku.

“We are here to interface with you. The good thing is that, after the last election, we did not wait until the next election before we started coming. We have been coming and we have been working”, the Senator said.

He emphasized his commitment to delivering more developmental projects and improving the welfare of his constituents if given another mandate.

Jarigbe further reassured stakeholders of his dedication to sustained grassroots engagement and effective representation.

Respondents in their separate remarks, the Executive Chairman of Obanliku LGA, Sunny Ayang, Paramount Ruler of Obanliku LGA, HRH Amos Uyumulam, and the APC Chapter Chairman warmly received Jarigbe and his entourage. They commended him for attracting significant infrastructure upgrades, projects and human capital development initiatives to the local government within a relatively short period.

The stakeholders also expressed their appreciation for his consistent engagement with the people and pledged their continued support for his leadership and gave their blessings to his reelection bid. The consultation visit included a meeting with members of the Obanliku Traditional Rulers Council as well as key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Local Government Area.
