Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba says he is rejecting the result of the primaries for the Cross River Senatorial district, which saw him lose his senatorial seat to John Owan Enoh. Speaking on the phone to Editors of www.crossriverwatch.com and www.calitown.com, two online platforms dedicated to Cross River centred news and views, Ndoma-Egba informed that, “the list of delegates used for the election was not made public and this was imperative as two lists were in circulation”.

He added further that, “non-delegates were voting and we mentioned their names just like results announced were in breach of the guidelines. They did not also display the list of delegates as well as sensitive voting materials as it is always the case. On the strength of this and several other abnormalities, I am rejecting the results of the primaries”, the Senate Leader concluded.

It is also clear that Ndoma-Egba has forwarded a written petition to the PDP headquarters and hopes to work on a few legal issues along the way. Ndoma-Egba, lost the primaries to Owan Enoh with the absolute backing of the CRS governor, sources within the party insist.
