NBC Greets HIT 95.9 FM Calabar As She Clocks Two

Posted on February 1, 2018 By Admin No Comments on NBC Greets HIT 95.9 FM Calabar As She Clocks Two

The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, says it is looking forward to having an enhanced cordial relationship with HIT 95.9 FM, the first private radio station in Cross River State, www.calitown.com can report.

NBC’s Peter Omamogho, expressed this desire in a message to Patrick Ugbe, MD/CEO of the station, as HIT FM marks her second anniversary. Omamogho’s message congratulated Ugbe and the HIT FM team, while praying that better service delivery will follow in the years ahead.

Similarly, former Secretary to the Cross River State government, Johnson Ebokpo, wrote in to congratulate the station as she marks two years in the broadcast industry. “You have been a great source of Information, Enlightenment, Education and Entertainment. In the process, you have made an exciting, highly intellectual, fearless and courageous difference and added tremendous value to the world of broadcast and social discuss in Cross River State and beyond. Please keep up this good work as I assure of my unwavering goodwill. May God continue to uphold, expand and strengthen you in the years ahead.” Ebokpo wrote.

On radio this morning, the station appears to have put the city of Calabar and environs under an entertainment siege, with loads of good programming and top draw music dropping from the station. We gather that later today at the Calabar Mall, the station will be transmitting live from there and also serve up a musical concert that will feature only up and coming local acts.
