Official results just announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Calabar, Cross River State, show state governor, Ben Ayade is leading in five local government areas; Akpabuyo, Ogoja, Calabar Municipality, Etung and Ikom.
A further breakdown put the votes at PDP, 80,080 votes. John Owan Enoh of the APC trails with 33,634 and SDP’s Eyo Ekpo with 1,443 votes respectively. A two-hour recess has been is in place now before the full result will be available.
