Akwa Ibom State will this September, precisely on the 12th of the month, play host to a large crowd of guests as homeboy and comedy star, Ime ‘Bishop’ Umoh of the “Uyai” movie fame, takes to the altar, Idara Saviour, his hearthrob at the Insight Bible Church, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Ime 'Bishop' Umoh
Umoh better known as ‘Okon Lagos’, is nationally acknowledged as a man whose steller delivery of roles in movies like “Okon Goes To School”, has put smiles on the faces of a large and expanding contingent of Nigerian movie followers. Undoubtedly, never has anybody since Gringori (James Iroha) of the New Masquerade fame, had the kind of impact he has had on the movie audience.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview monitored by calitown.com, Umoh gave kudos to Akwa Ibom State born movie producer, Emem Isong, who he said discovered him. The philosophy graduate of the University of Uyo thanked Isong for the opportunity that has seen him soar and soar.
