Augustine ‘Hydro’ Iwara

At 3:00 am, early Sunday morning, November 21, 2021, yet to be identified persons, in three Hilux vehicles, abducted one Augustine Omini Iwara, popularly known as “Hydro”, in Ugep, Yakurr LGA, Cross River State in circumstances that have dazed the local community.

Impeccable sources confirmed to www.calitown.com that Hydro’s abductors arrived his business premises, “Classic Bar” on the Ikom/Calabar, directly opposite First Bank, dressed in military and police uniforms and forcefully gained entrance into the building, killing his dog in the process before abducting him.

This abduction is coming not long after Ubi Itam Ettah, a.k.a Bomboy, a former council chairman in the area was abducted and later released after a ransom was paid.
