The Association of Cross River Online Journalists, ACROJ, has congratulated the governor-elect of Cross River State in the just concluded governorship election.

In a statement issued in Calabar today by the Chairman of ACROJ, Iwara Iwara, the group opines that, “Nigeria’s democracy has indeed gone full circle with the completion of the governorship and House of Assembly elections across the nation. In Cross River State, the electorate have with their votes elected Senator Ben Ayade as governor of Cross River State.

“For us in the Association of Cross River Online Journalists, ACROJ, we congratulate the governor-elect Senator Ben Ayade on his success at the polls and pray that God will help him address the issues that confront our complete evolution as a state positively.

Continuing the association said, “On our part as an association, pioneering the free flow of Cross River centered information, we will partner with our governor-elect to ensure that his articulate programs are compulsively reported to the benefit of all.

“We are committed to ensuring that our State will no more take the information back seat. It is a commitment we will pursue”, the statement concluded.
