Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade, is set to reshuffle his cabinet after it became clear that several members of his cabinet with political ambitions are currently more preoccupied with seeking elective positions than discharging their official functions.

An official government statement contained in a memo with reference number, GO/PRESS/12/VOL II/144, dated May 4, 2022, and signed by the governor’s spokesman, Christian Ita, directed that those affected should turn in their resignations before 12:00pm on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
