Ayade who sounded very emotional on the line said he was humbled by the singular fact that Agba called him up this morning to congratulate him on his emergence. Hear him, “…me and Goddy spoke this morning and he amazed me with his brotherhood talk. He said it is God that gives power. He said he asked for the position, I also asked for it but God choose only one of us and he is even going to put his resources together and work with me to make the process a success… He also insists I should not listen to any blackmail or gossip, he is not going to court, he is not going to another party, he is working to make sure that we succeed”.
On the intrigues that accompanied the political process, Ayade said, “the intrigues were very high and brought our docile state to limelight, all those who took part in it helped to make it the success it has been.
