Posted on December 2, 2013 By Admin 2 Comments on BREAKING: Imoke Wields Big Stick, Suspends Most Executive Council Members

A press release on the Cross River State radio, monitored by calitown.com, has just revealed that state governor, Liyel Imoke has approved the immediate suspension of a large section of the state Executive Council with further directives that members so suspended hand over the running of their ministries and parastatals to their permanent secretaries or most senior civil servant.

This suspension may not be unconnected to the recent flag-off ceremonies of the 2013 Calabar Christmas Festival where most of the Executive Council members were visibly absent.

Details shortly.
