BREAKING: One Person Shot, Pandemonium At C’R PDP Secretariat

Posted on September 10, 2018 By Admin 1 Comment on BREAKING: One Person Shot, Pandemonium At C’R PDP Secretariat
The CR PDP Secretariat

In the last couple of minutes, one person has been shot and injured following a disagreement between a group of persons who had converged early this morning at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, secretariat in Calabar, Cross River State, to protest the party’s decision to hand automatic tickets to all National Assembly members in the state..

We observed that the thumping of a vehicle, trying to gain entrance into the secretariat, while a horde of persons blocked the gate, resulted in a shouting bout, with the owner of the vehicle threatening fire and brimstone, before driving off and returning with reinforcements. An eyewitness who spoke to www.calitown.com swore he saw the man who drove off return with the one believed to have shot the gun.
Sources on the ground were quick to inform that the shooting appears to be a ploy by the boys of a prominent politician to disperse the crowd gathering at the secretariat to protest. The victim who was shot was hurriedly taken to an undisclosed location.
