On the ground sources in Ediba, Abi Local Government Area, Cross River State have in the course of the week informed www.calitown.com that a rocket was fired into the community from the waterfront axis of the town in an attack that led to pandemonium in the area as several persons ran for cover.
The attackers are said to have arrived the community in three heavily armed gunboats from where they shot sporadically into the community. While the rocket launched from one of the boats landed in the village, it miraculously did not detonate. Eventhough the community has been enmeshed in a bitter communal feud with the neighbouring Usumutong community, several sources maintain that it is completely out of place to link the attack to the latter community.
Police sources in the area have confirmed to www.calitown.com that the unexploded rocket launched in the area has since been picked up by the police, while investigations by security agencies are on-going.

An usumutong man was recently beheaded in the farm by ediba, this did not appear in your report – .say you are not aware . stop shielding ediba community in your report.
