CALABAR: Gunmen Abduct Wife Of Sun Newspaper Correspondent

Unidentified gunmen, Iate Tuesday evening in Calabar, Cross River State, are believed to have abducted the wife of Judex Okoro, Cross River state correspondent of The Sun Newspaper in circumstances that appear to demonstrate that residents of the city still have to grapple with a steady rise in abductions.

Sources in Calabar say the mother of three was abducted in Calabar Municipality, some few minutes after 8pm, Tuesday evening on her way home. At press time, Mrs Okoro’s abductors were yet to reach the family.
