CALABAR: Man & Wife Survive Landslide, Lose Four Family Members

Posted on July 11, 2022July 11, 2022 By Admin No Comments on CALABAR: Man & Wife Survive Landslide, Lose Four Family Members

A landslide, late Sunday evening, consumed four family members in Nasarawa, Bacoco area of Calabar Municipality, we can confirm.

While no immediate reason was given by hordes of sympathizers who worked late into the night to dig out the victims, sources at the scene revealed in a telephone conversation with www.calitown.com that heavy rains and the precarious location of the building played a critical role in the tragedy.

The parents of the victim’s survived by the whiskers, while their four children were unlucky as rescue efforts could not save their lives. Muffled cries of pain and sadness have clearly taken over the dominant Muslim settlement as residents of the area continue to discuss this unfortunate incident.
