Cross River State Commissioner for Lands, John Inyang has commended the Director-General and staff of the Cross River Geographic Information Agency, CRGIA, for driving through with the complete digitalization of the Agency’s operations as well as for showing an exemplary dedication to duty.

Inyang gave the commendation when he visited the Agency to familiarize himself with the activities of the Agency. He particularly commended the Director-General of the Agency, Clement Oshaka, for demonstrating administrative and leadership competence which has made CRGIA a high revenue yielding Agency of government. The Commissioner pleaded that staff of the Agency keep up the good work and that the plethora of problems they have listed will be effectively communicated to the governor.

Earlier while welcoming the Commissioner to the Agency, the D-G, Clement Oshaka, congratulated him on his appointment and prayed that God will grant him the wisdom to discharge his functions to the best of his abilities. He also drew the attention of Inyang to the dearth in funds that has adversely affected the operations of the Agency, pleading that the office be properly funded so that she can generate appreciable revenue for government like she has done in the past.

When he spoke with www.calitown.com later, the Commissioner re-stated his commitment to vigourously pursue administrative policies that will help CRGIA function maximally. The Commissioner later took pictures with the D-G and senior staff of the Agency before departing.
