CR Assembly Man Grateful Mum Is New Unical VC

Posted on September 14, 2020 By Admin No Comments on CR Assembly Man Grateful Mum Is New Unical VC
L-R: Bisong, Obi

Hilary Bisong, who represents Boki II State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, says he is “Gratefully thankful” that his mother, Professor of Education, Florence Obi, has been appointed to suceed Zana Akpagu as Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar.

In an exclusive interaction with www.calitown.com, Bisong also added that; “We give all the glory and honour to God” for exceptionally making the appointment possible especially as “her appointment as the first female Vice Chancellor of the university is a milestone”.

He was also of the clear opinion that his mother’s wealth of administrative and academic experience will be essentially brought to bear as she discharges her day to day functions in the general interest of Unical. The assembly man concluded by soliciting for support from critical stakeholders, staff and students of the institution in Obi’s quest to properly position Unical.
