Some of the new commissioners being sworn-in.

Cross River State governor, Bassey Edet Otu, today swore in 31 commissioners as he formally constituted the Cross River State Executive Council.

While six women, Agnes Atsu, Beatrice Igwe, Helen Isamoh, Lawrencia Ita, Abigail Duke and Margaret Ene-Ita, were among those sworn in, the CRS Vice Chairman of the APC, Eka Williams, Secretary of the party, Bassey Offiong Mensah as well as spokesperson of the APC in CRS, Erasmus Ekpang, were also sworn in as commissioners.
