Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State, has taken delivery of two new aircraft as part of his administration’s commitment to revitalizing the state’s aviation sector.

The aircraft received by the governor and his entourage at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, mark a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to improve air travel connectivity.

This development is expected to ease frequent flight cancellations and delays that have long frustrated Cross Riverians and visitors traveling to and from the state.

Otu, accompanied by his wife, Eyoanwan Otu; former Minister of Culture and Tourism, Edem Duke; Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Oden Ewa, Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Felix Idem, among other distinguished Cross Riverians, received the aircraft on the state’s behalf .
