Posted on October 26, 2014 By Admin No Comments on De Norsemen Kclub Holds Converge In Ugep

IMG_20141025_001247The first state-wide Converge of De Norsemen Kclub of Nigeria, a non-partisan national and international organization, has been scheduled to hold from November 7- 9, 2014 at the Ivany Hotel, Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area, Cross River State.

According to a release signed by the Guvnor of the state branch of the organization John Agba, and made available to www.calitown.com, the Converge with the theme, ” Strengthening Our Flotillas for Economic and Political Benefits, Now and Beyond”, will commence with a novelty football match between the CRS council of the organization and its local chapter in Ugep.

The release adds that on Saturday, November 8, 2014, the organization will pay a courtesy call on the Obol Lopon of Ugep and Paramount ruler of Yakurr LGA, Obol Ubi Ujong Inah, in his palace as well as a charity visit to the motherless baby home in the area where gifts and cash will be given the facility. A Converge lecture will follow thereafter to be delivered by Dr Emmanuel Akpan of the Department of Banking and Finance, University of Calabar.

A thanksgiving mass will hold the next day before members depart. The Cross River State chapter of the organization is headquartered in Calabar and has active presence with functional Flotillas in the major towns of Ugep, Ikom, Ogoja and Obudu. At the end of the Converge, the document further states, the organization hopes to strengthen membership, re-dedicate itself to pursuing the highest possible human ideals as well as encourage a positive competitive edge among members. This Converge will lead the CRS chapter into the organization’s International Converge holding at the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt, Rivers state in December, 2014.
