Former Cross River State governor, Clement David Ebri, yesterday in Calabar, Cross River State, formally declared his intention to run for the office of National Chairman of Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, bringing to rest several weeks of speculations about Ebri’s political future.

At the well attended occasion, Ebri came clear that as National Chairman, he will pursue a leadership style that is people centred in policy making because the party belongs to the people and that their voice must be heard. The party’s teeming youths he also maintained, have a role to play in Nigeria, the reason his leadership of the APC will push for the harvesting of their energy to move the country forward.

He did not mince words when he came clear at the occasion that the APC must thread on the right path, take Nigeria to the promise land and must make Nigerians feel the change agenda promised them in 2015 among other things.

Come June 23, 2018, the day set aside for the APC’s National Convention, Ebri, who spoke with www.calitown.com believes his track record, excellent leadership style, vision and capacity to reconcile fueding factions within the party, will him the person voted to take the APC to the next level.

Present at the occasion were, Mathew Achibeh, factional APC Chairman CRS, Johnson Eboko, former SSG, Cross River State, John Ochala, former APC Chairman, Cross River State, Dominic Aqua Edem, Alex Egbonna, Edem Duke, among others.
