Okim.

Effa Imoh Okim, from Okuni community, Ikom Local Government Area, Cross River State, has been posted by Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to head the Benin Zone as Zonal Director.

As head of the Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC, Okim will oversee the agency’s operations in Edo, Delta, and Ondo States, the states under his command. His appointment follows the course of a distinguished career in the EFCC and his leadership will be instrumental in advancing the EFCC’s mandate across these states.

Recognised within and outside the EFCC for his experience and commitment to combating financial crimes, under his direction, the Benin Zonal Command is expected to strengthen enforcement efforts within the three states. EFCC’s appointment of Okim, further reflects a strategic move to enhance anti-corruption initiatives in the Benin Command.
