Eight Rescued, One Missing As Abduction Saga Draws To A Close

Posted on November 16, 2022 By Admin No Comments on Eight Rescued, One Missing As Abduction Saga Draws To A Close

We have been reliably informed that eight of the nine persons abducted yesterday by an unknown group of persons on the Ikom/Calabar highway, have been rescued by security personnel, working overnight. They weren’t many other disclosures for security reasons.

“I text to inform you as publisher of www.calitown.com that we have rescued eight of the abducted nine persons”, a short text message read.

Pressed for more information about the nineth person, we were told that, “the nineth person was not immediately accounted for. If you give us a little time, we will send you details. The car they were traveling in had no passenger manifest so we are in the process of ascertaining the identities of those rescued and in our custody. It is possible that the nineth person may have escaped, we have no negative thoughts on his whereabouts”, we were further informed.
